For today's blog challenge, we have to write about where we'd like to be in 10 years.
In 10 years, I know I'll still be married to David, but I'm hoping we can possibly have one child by then. It's funny because when I was younger, I never wanted kids. I though they were annoying little brats and sometimes I still think that. With my retail job, I see a ton of people, and it amazes me that there are tons of parents who don't watch their child as they're playing with all the clothes ruining the displays. Anyways, I'll be 34 in 10 years, so having one child by then doesn't seem so bad. David's really the one who wants kids, so I said we can have one later in life, much later than now, and if it goes well, we can have another one.
I also hope to be doing this beauty blogging thing as my job. It's been my dream to do this as a career for a while now, and I've been having so much fun writing about what I love and meeting different beauty blogging peeps. I also want to be doing beauty videos on Youtube. I know that sounds a little farfetched but it's what I wanna do and no one can tell me what to do otherwise :)
This next one might be a bit tough, but I'd love to be able to own our own house. I know, houses are super expensive and whatnot, but I just wanna be settled down in a house rather than renting something. Don't get me wrong, I like where I live. It's quiet, it's close to work for both of us and it's the perfect size for David and I. Once we do decide to have children in the future, we're definitely gonna need a bigger place and renting to me feels like I'm just wasting money.
Well, that's it! I know it might not seem like much, but I just want to have a good, happy life doing what I love.
Make sure to come back for tomorrow's blog challenge!
I've read a few of these so far, it is a fab challenge xx

It is! I'm excited for this challenge!
DeleteSounds like a plan! ANd you are right, kids can be brats!!!
ReplyDeleteYes they can be! Some are good though
DeleteSounds like a great plan. Owning a home is sometimes a pain, but at least it's your pain. There are a lot of programs out there for first time home buyers. Take advantage of them. When you are ready to buy a home, find a realtor you are comfortable with (not too pushy, not pushy enough what ever your personal preference is), shop around realtors if you have to. It makes the process a little easier. I only have one child and I love having an only child.
ReplyDeleteI think waiting until your 30's is a great plan. I had my youngest at 34, and it was a great age. I'm now following along via Bloglovin and look forward to reading more. :-)
