Hey guys! I did my nails yesterday (so excuse the horrible job I did. I'm still rubbish at painting my nails!) and I'm so happy with the color and everything, so I wanted to share!
I picked up the Revlon Colorstay nail polish in the shade Indigo Night at Big Lots yesterday for only $1.50. I have no idea if this is a discontinued shade, but I'm surprised I actually bought this. Blue isn't typically a color I go for, but something about this stood out to me. I figured for just over a buck, if I don't like it, it's no big deal. The first thing I love about this is the color. I just love how this works with my fair skin. Once I put it on my nails, I was amazed at how pigmented this shade is! I probably could've gotten away with only doing one coat, but I did two just to be safe. The brush is interesting too. No matter how much polish I tried to get off of the brush, it still picked up alot and I was able to coat all nails on one hand without having to dip it back in. That can either be a good thing or bad thing. Since I'm not the best at doing my nails, the polish did get a bit messy for me, but I was able to work with it.
Overall, I really am so happy with this nail polish! I did get a couple more Revlon polishes during my little shopping trip, so I have high hopes for them as well!
Have you tried this nail polish before? If so, what do you think of it?

NOTD: China Glaze Love's A Beach & Nailtini Millionaire
It's been ages since I've done a Nail of the Day post, and I'm pretty sure I only have one other post showing off my nail polish! I figured I'd do another one because I actually like how my nails turned out this time. I think I'm rubbish at painting my nails but usually after a couple days, it starts looking nice.
I first put down a base coat, then used two coats of China Glaze's Love's A Beach, which is a beautiful neon pink color with a hint of coral to it. When I put on the first coat, I was pretty shocked when it turned out matte. I looked up other reviews online as well, and for some reason the color here looks nothing like the other reviews, so I don't know what's up with that. Anyways, I love how fast this dried. Right after I put on the first coat, it was completely dry. Amazing! I purchased this at Sally Beauty when there was a sale on their nail polishes for buy 2, get one free.
I felt like doing a little something extra with my nails and added Nailtini's Millionaire on my ring finger as an accent. I got this glittery nail polish in a previous Ipsy bag and I actually really like it! I love all the gold, green and blue glitter pieces in it and I feel that it makes this look pop a bit. I'm not used to doing much with my nails, so this was a bit out of my comfort zone, but I really ended up liking it. Since I wasn't a fan of the matte look with the China Glaze polish, I did use a shiny top coat afterwards that helped a little bit, but my nails do still look matte.
Hope you guys like this look!

NOTD: China Glaze Cast A Spell
Today is going to be my first nail of the day so don't hate on the bad job I did at painting my nails! I'm the first to admit, I'm not the best at painting my nails but I try and I'm getting better. Anyways, the nail polish I used is by China Glaze and the color is called Cast A Spell.
Now I don't particularly think this picture is terrible considering that my camera can be fussy sometimes. You can actually see that this color is a dark, mossy green with gold and green shimmer flakes. I bought this at Ulta on clearance, which is going to be included in a future haul post, so keep an eye out for that! On the nails, this color is absolutely gorgeous! It even looks a bit different on the nails than in the bottle, which I don't mind. On the nails when I look at them in natural light, it actually looks like it has a black-ish base with some dark green in it and then the flakes of green and gold mixed in. This also went on really nice with one coat, but I always do two just to be safe because I like my nail polish to be very opaque. I always use a base coat as well and finish off with a top coat.
I'd say this is a pretty nice color for fall because of the dark green and the gold flecks of shimmer. Plus, I only paid $4.99 for it too, but I'm not sure if that means they're discontinuing this color or it's just on sale. Either way, I really like it and I don't use nail polish all the time so this bottle should last me a while. I've never tried any China Glaze polishes before this one, and I must say, I'm impressed. I'll be picking up more when I can!
