Review: NYX Butter Lip Balm in Parfait

Hey guys! Today's post is going to be a review of the NYX Butter Lip Balm in the shade Parfait. I received this in my December Ipsy bag and have been really enjoying it. 

The packaging of the NYX lip balm is just like a standard twist up lip balm container. I was excited to try this lip balm because I love their Butter Glosses and have a ton of colors, but I hadn't tried the balm version. 

I love the color I got! NYX describes this color as a fuchsia with blue undertones. That's perfect for me because I prefer cooler colors and pink is my favorite color. This lip balm feels so smooth and wonderful when applied to the lips. The color payoff is pretty good too but the staying power is just okay. The color lasted on me for about 3 hours. 

The color doesn't seem to come off as bright as it looks in real life, but you can still see it. This lip balm is pretty hydrating too, but once the color wears off, I do feel the need to reapply. 

These NYX lip balms come in 8 shades and only cost $4, which is a pretty good price. I'm not sure if I would purchase more only because the color selection isn't that great in my opinion. Hopefully they expand the line more because I do love how they make my lips feel, and I have no problem reapplying it when needed.
