Review: Borghese Eclissare Color Eclipse Color Glass Lip Gloss

*Disclosure* I was lucky enough to have the entire collection of Borghese's Eclissare line sent to me. Any opinions are 100% honest and my own, like always!

Hey everyone! I have some exciting posts to share with you today and hopefully later next week. As you can tell from my little disclosure, Borghese sent me their line of Eclissare products. The line includes lip glosses, a large eyeshadow palette and two smaller eyeshadow palettes. I was thinking of combining the posts into one, but I thought it would be way too long, so the palettes will be reviewed in a separate post.

I had heard of Borghese before, so when I received a lovely package from them, I was ecstatic. I had always thought of Borghese as a luxury skincare brand, I had no idea they had makeup as well. I'm not 100% sure when this Eclissare line came out, but from doing some research, I think it may have been launched this past September (don't quote me though!). Anyways, that was a longer intro, so lets get into my review of the Color Eclipse Color Glass Lip Glosses.

First, here is a product description taken from the Borghese website:
"Lustrous and captivating, Eclissare ColorGlass Lip Gloss is a hydrating lip gloss that offers high shine and color. Ultra-reflective pigment and pearl deliver a luminous glow. Eclissare ColorGlass Lip Gloss are available in 9 new exciting shimmery shades."

I received 8 of the 9 shades that are available and here are the first four:
-Gilt which is a bronze-y goldshade
-Brink which is pretty much a straight up dark brown
-Darkling which is a very beautiful burgundy/berry shade
-Odyssey which is a light bronze/brown shade

Last four:
-Brightside which is a beautiful pinky champagne shade
-Omen which is a plum-y purple shade
-Simmer which is basically a clear gloss with shimmer in it
-Chaos which is still a clear gloss but has a lot more silver shimmer to it

There is one more color called Spark which to me looks like a dark champagne shade.

Now going back to the description of these glosses, I do agree with them being high shine and hydrating. They do feel nice on the lips and are only a little bit sticky, but not bad. Wear time is alright, about 2-3 hours or so. The color payoff? I don't think it's so great. The darker colors definitely have more pigment to them. These glosses really only seem like topper glosses, if that makes sense. Use a lipstick and top it off with one of these and you definitely have a beautiful shiny look for day or night.

These glosses retail for $21.50 each and you can find them on the Borghese website.

What do you think of these glosses?

Review: Be A Bombshell Eye Base in Submissive

Hey guys! Today I'm going to be reviewing a product that I received in my most recent Ipsy bag, the Be A Bombshell Eye Base in the color Submissive. I don't usually review products from Ipsy bags, but this one is special to me, so read on!

As far as I can tell, you can only get Be A Bombshell products on their website. Their eye bases cost $14, so this product itself payed for my Ipsy bag, plus some!

When I first saw I was getting this, I was happy but I do have quite a bit of eye bases that need more love than they already get. Once it was in my hands, I changed my tune a bit. I used it the very next day after receiving it and was super impressed with how it looked on the lids. You can apply it with your fingers, but I prefer to use a brush to help with blending. It applies evenly and is super creamy and easy to work with.

The color is so beautiful! At first I thought it was going to be like the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze, but this base has more gold to it. The first time I used it, I did use shadow over the top of it and my look lasted my whole work day. I do have to use a primer first because I do get oily eyelids. The second time I used this, I used it on its own with just some shadow in the crease. By the end of the day it still looked nice, but just a little faded, so I do think this works a bit better when shadow is applied over the top.

Overall, I'm really impressed with this eye base! I honestly didn't think I would like it as much as I do, even though I was excited to receive it. Would I buy more? I'm not sure yet. Like I said above, I do have quite a few bases and cream shadows to use up, so if I do want more of these, I'm gonna have to use up what I have first.

Remember, when you sign up with Ipsy, you receive a beauty bag every month for only $10, and alot of times you get a product that's worth more than the whole bag itself!

What's your favorite eye base/cream shadow?

November 2014 Ipsy Bag

Hey everyone! I received my Ipsy bag sometime last week, but only got around to posting about it til today. Work has been kicking my booty and I'll admit, I'm just tired. Anyways, this month's Ipsy bag is called Girl Meets Glitter, and so far, I'm not as impressed as I was last month.

I'm not sure how I really feel about the look of the bag. It's glittery out the wazoo, but I'm just happy it's got a smooth texture to it instead of being rough. I don't really see myself carrying this around with me.

I'm split on the products too. Half of them I like, the other half I can do without. That being said, the first product is the Temptu S/B Highlighter in the color Pink Pearl. I'm not a highlighter girl. I have oily skin most months out of the year so I have that glow already. Plus I don't own the Temptu airbrush system, so this is definitely useless to me. I'm hoping I can find some way to use it though.

Next up is the Nicole by OPI Nail Polish in the color Guys & Galaxies. I'm sure I've already said multiple times, but I'm just not into nail polish. Give me skincare and makeup, but all the nail polish I get in these bags goes to waste. I have to really be in the mood to do my nails and I have tons of nail polish that are just sitting around.

Next we have the Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Volume Shine Hairspray. Again, another useless product for me. I've never used hairspray in my life so unless I give this away to someone, this product will sit in my collection gathering dust.

Then we have the Be A Bombshell Eye Base in the shade Submissive. I'm happy with this. I love eye bases and this one is a pretty taupe-y bronze-y gold color that will probably get good use. Finally something I can use in this bag!

The last product is another good one for me. It's the ClariSEA Sea Salt Solutions Instant Glow Powder Exfoliant. Yes, yes and yes! I love a good exfoliant, especially this time of year when my skin gets drier. I can't wait to put this to use, but I have read comments that it's a bit rough, so we shall see.

Well, that's my bag. I do wish I had some better products in here, but you can't always have an amazing bag. I have reviewed these products so hopefully they take into consideration that I don't really care for hairspray and nail polish!

If you want to sign up for Ipsy, use my referral link here! It's only $10 a month, plus shipping for some and you get some good products! (Most of the time, at least)

If you're already subscribed, what did you get in your bag?

Review: InstaNatural Age-Defying Skin Clearing Serum & Moroccan Rose Water

*Disclosure* These products were received complimentary for review purposes. All opinions are 100% honest and my own, like always.

Hello everyone! Today brings a skincare review on two products from InstaNatural, the Age-Defying Skin Clearing Serum and the Moroccan Rose Water. I've been really enjoying this brand alot lately and am very lucky to receive these products to try out and review for you guys!

The first product I'm going to talk about is the Skin Clearing Serum. I wanted to try this because it seemed like a multipurpose product. It contains:

-20% Vitamin C
-2.5% Retinol
-2% Salicylic Acid
-Tea Tree Oil and Niacinamide

All of those ingredients work together to help soothe blemishes and irritated skin, decongest and unclog pores, and diminish redness and inflammation.

Now I don't have wrinkles, but my skin has been feeling a bit clogged and looking dull. Since using this, I can tell a difference in the texture of my skin with it being more soft and smooth, and the pores on my nose don't seem as clogged as they normally are. Honestly, I haven't been impressed with a skin treatment like this in quite a while. It's a great price too for the product you get. It normally retails for around $40, but is currently on sale on Amazon for just over $23. I would definitely buy this again when I use up my skincare stash.

Next, I want to talk about the Moroccan Rose Water. I have to admit, rose scented things usually aren't my cup of tea. I was curious to try it out though and see if I liked it.

This product is 100% pure and natural rose water and is good for people with normal, dry, oily and sensitive skin. This is also good for sunburns and shiny hair.

I haven't tried it out for my hair, but I have been using it as a toner. I just add a bit to a cotton pad along with my regular toner. I'm actually surprised that I like the scent of this! Yes, it smells like rose, but it's not overbearing and perfume-y. A little bit goes a very long way and I can tell it's helping my skin feel more hydrated and supple. This is also fairly priced at about $13 on Amazon compared to the retail price of $25. I'm not too sure if I would purchase this, only because I'm so loyal to The Body Shop's Aloe toner. You all know I've raved about it since I started this blog.

What do you think about these products?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Sephora VIB Sale Haul!

Hey guys! It's that time of year again when Sephora has their yearly sale for VIBs and VIB Rouges. The sale did end on the 10th but naturally, I bought quite a few goodies that I'm really excited to share with you guys. It's safe to say that I don't need anything beauty related for a long while! I think after the holiday's are over, it's spending ban time. Anyway, onto the products!

The first product I knew I wanted to get was the Bliss Buttah-Bling! trio. I love body butters, especially this time of year and I do love the Bliss body butters alot. (I still love The Body Shop ones too!) This set comes with 3 different scents: Lemon+Sage, Blood Orange+White Pepper, and Grapefruit+Aloe. I can't wait to use these when the weather gets super cold because I know these will be ultra hydrating.

I debated on whether or not to get a backup Beauty Blender, so when I was looking online I came across this set. It's got two of the original Beauty Blenders plus a liquid Blender Cleanser and it only cost $39.95. With the extra 20% off, I figured it was worth it. Now I'm stocked with Beauty Blenders for quite a while!

Next up is the Tarte Pin Up Girl Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Palette. I wanted to purchase this online, but by the time I could get on the site, it said it was sold out. I didn't need this, but I only have one other Tarte blush from a kit last year, so I wanted to broaden my horizons. Luckily, I went to the Sephora inside JC Penny near me, and they had a couple of these left in stock, so I snatched it up.

Bite Beauty has been a brand that I've really wanted to get more into. I bought their limited edition rose lip gloss library and love that alot. This is the Best Bite Remix set which has 4 of their High Pigment Lip Pencils in the colors Pomegranate, Rhubarb, Sable and Winterberry. I'm so excited to try these because EmilyNoel on YouTube raved about this set, and I trust everything she says.

Next up is nothing fancy, but I needed a pencil sharpener for my eyeliner pencils. I have a really old one that my mom gave me, but I think it's dying on me. It was time for an upgrade.

Then we have a brush set. This is the Sephora Collection Natural Resources: Everyday Eye Brush Set. I feel like I'm getting bored with the eye brushes I have, and I'm always on the hunt for brushes that work well.

Last few things! I haven't bought any of my beloved Philosophy Shower Gels lately, and this one in the scent Peppermint Stick smells so awesome, seriously, I could eat it! (I won't though, no worries!) I also wanted to pick up the Fresh Cream Body Lotion because of Jaclyn Hill on YouTube. I'll admit, I never really tried any of Philosophy's body creams, and this one definitely smells amazing, but I have yet to try it, so I can't say if it's hydrating or not.

The last product I decided to buy was a total splurge. It's the much talked about Nars Kabuki Ita Brush. Yes, this brush was $55, and yes I fell for the hype. I don't know what it is, but if something gets talked about so much, I tend to want to try it out. It was sold out for ages, and I guess for the sale, Nars decided to put it out again. Of course it's sold out now, but maybe they'll bring it back again. I hope this is as good as I've been hearing it is.

What did you pick up during the VIB sale?

Review: Monat Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive

*Disclosure* This product was provided complimentary from iFaboo for review purposes. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be reviewing an interesting product by the brand Monat and it's their Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive.

When I first saw this product in my iFabbo shop, I was intrigued so I figured I'd give it a try. I've been getting more into oils lately, especially with it getting colder and drier outside. Once I got it in the mail, I was a little confused on what it was used for. I wasn't sure if it was a hair oil or skin oil. After doing some researching, I found out it's a multi use product. You can use it in your hair, on your face, or anywhere you need extra hydration.

There are many benefits this oil has:

-Can be used daily and is absorbed quickly and completely
-Seals, coats and smooths hair cuticle to boost shine and protect from environmental influences
-Provides nutrients, Omega-6 fatty acids and antioxidants which help prevent premature aging
-Alleviates dehydration caused by harsh cleaners and styling products
-It's a natural alternative to harmful silicones
-Independent clinical studies show that its main ingredient, Abyssinian Oil, generates superior results when compared to Argan Oil
-This is a cruelty-free product!

I had to look up the clinical study information since I was definitely curious about the results.

-88% noticed an increase to hair manageability
-55% reported reduced breakage to hair
-100% experienced an increase to hair's natural shine

With alot of the information on hair, I thought that was its main use was for. However there are directions on how to use it for your skin, and I put it on after I use a treatment, before moisturizer, at night. You can also use it on dry cuticles, elbows, feet, anything that needs extra hydration really.

So what have I noticed after using this? For my hair personally, it seems a bit too heavy right now. I have fine, wavy hair that does get frizzy, but I don't think the weather is cold enough yet for me to notice major results. However, I do notice good results with my skin. Now I am almost 26, so I don't have wrinkles or horrible skin issues at the moment, but when I use this, I notice my skin feels alot softer and more supple. It is a bit greasy feeling at first, but it sinks right in after about 10 minutes or so. I like using this after I give myself a facial, as it seems to sink in quicker and be more effective.

If you want more information on this product, check out their website here! It gives tons and tons of information on this and other products and how to buy.

Review: InstaNatural Phytoceramides Youthful Skin Formula

*Disclosure* This product was received complimentary for review purposes. All opinions are 100% honest and my own!

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be reviewing another supplement type product by InstaNatural and it's their Phytoceramides Youthful Skin Formula. I was excited to be able to try this out since my skin is changing with the weather.

Here is a product description taken from the Tomoson website:

Phytoceramides are a great way to achieve healthy skin from the inside out. Ceramides are naturally occuring substances in the body that are responsible for binding skin cells together and retaining moisture. As we age, we lose these important molecules and thus become susceptible to dry, rough skin.
InstaNatural's Phytoceramides are 100% Gluten Free and derived from rice, which clinical studies have shown to be even more powerful and effective than typical lipowheat phytoceramides.

I had heard of phytoceramides before but never really thought I needed them since I'm still fairly young. I'm starting to notice though that my skin changes way more when the weather changes and lately it's been flaking like crazy, even though I'm still oily.

With that being said, these phytoceramides are supposed to hydrate your skin from the inside out, help attain soft, smooth skin and it's fortified with vitamins A, C, D and E antioxidants.

I was lucky enough to receive 2 bottles of these supplements, which contain a 30 day supply. I just take 1 in the morning after I eat breakfast. The capsule isn't too large, but I sometimes have an issue with it going down right. It's been close to a month now, and I can safely say I do notice a difference since adding these to my supplement routine. My skin feels softer and less flaky. Lately when I'm at work, I've been getting compliments on my nice skin, which doesn't happen too often. You can find these on Amazon here for only $14.97 per bottle, and it is Prime shipping eligible!

What do you think of these phytoceramides?
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

My first Memebox! #45 Chocolate Mania

Hey guys! I have an exciting post today, because I received my very first Memebox in the mail earlier this week! I've been hearing so many amazing things about this box all over YouTube, so I decided to take the plunge and buy one.

Memebox is the #1 Korean online beauty retailer in the world and they ship to 51 different countries internationally. Shipping does take quite a while. I ordered this box around the middle of September and it shipped out October 24th. Estimated shipping time is 10-20 days, so from October 24th to just earlier this week isn't too bad, especially since it came from Korea. There are so many different boxes to choose from, yet they do seem to sell out quickly. They also do sell products individually as well! The price point is very fair considering you receive 4 to 8 full sized products and deluxe samples. This particular box cost $23 and shipping was $6.99, but a YouTuber had a $5 off code I was able to use. I also have to say, the pink box is just too adorable! I love the color and I may actually keep it and find some use for it!

Here are all the chocolate inspired products in all their glory! As you can tell from the title of this post, I received box #45 and it's called Chocolate Mania. If you know me, you know I'm pretty much a chocolate freak. Once I opened the box, I immediately had to do a sniff test, because I'm weird like that. Here is a closer look of the products.

The first product at the very top is the Zamian Super Gold Cacao Pack. This is a full sized product and retails for $22, so that right there almost covers the box! I kid you not, this stuff smells like rich, chocolatey cake batter. I could really sit here all day and sniff it. Anyways, this is basically a mask to smooth, firm and nourish the skin. I have to look at the card everything is on because directions and whatnot are all in Korean, and I don't know Korean at all. I'll also say now that every product in this box is full sized!

The second product is Skinfood Cacao Hand Balm and this retails for $5. This product doesn't smell as chocolatey as the mask, but it's still nice! I haven't tried this yet, but with the dry skin I've been having, I'm sure this will be put to use soon enough. This hand balm looks so thick too, so I have hopes that it's super hydrating.

The last product pictured here is the Neogen Code9 Gold Cacao Cream. This baby retails for $30! Now this product actually doesn't smell chocolatey at all, more floral if anything. The key ingredients in this are gold, cacao seed butter, mango seed butter, shea butter and olive oil. I can tell just by those ingredients that this will be a Winter only moisturizer, as I'm pretty oily throughout most of the year.

The product pictured at the top is the Binucook Cacao Choco Pie Soap and it retails for $6. Even though this is packaged well, the smell of cake batter is amazingly strong and I just love it. At first I thought this was bar soap you use for your body, but it is actually a facial soap that deep cleans but also maintains skin's moisture/oil balance.

Beneath that product is the Dearberry Miss Mona Lisa Eyebrow pencil in the shade 01 Choco Brownie, which retails for $2. This comes with a spoolie brush on the other side, which is definitely handy. I've never tried eyebrow pencils before, and I think if I use a light hand with it, the color should be fine. It's not overly brown which is nice too.

The next product I got is the Purederm Choco Cacao Collagen Mask and it retails for $2. I've tried sheet masks in the past and haven't had much luck with them because of the holes being too small for the eyes, or they just don't line up properly. I will try this though since it has high concentrates of cacao and collagen extracts, which is good for moisture.

Next up is the Missha Cacao & Cream Facial Scrub which retails for $12. This scrub looks like cookies and cream ice cream, but only has a faint smell of sweetness. This scrub is supposed to get rid of dead skin cells, blackheads and whiteheads while still maintaining skin's moisture level.

Last but not least, we have the Shara Shara Tempting Avocado Chocolate Massage Cream, which retails for $11. I thought this was also a body massage product, but it's for your face! I always loved getting facials when they did a facial massage. It's incredibly relaxing and now I'm excited to do it more with this product. My mother-in-law now wants a facial from me too!

Well that's everything I received in my first Memebox! I'm so impressed and the total value of this box is $90! I paid only $24.99! I also love how this is basically all skincare, since I'm a skincare junkie. Before I even got this in the mail, I did order another box, but that won't ship out til the end of this month. I also decided to sign up with them as an affiliate, that's how impressed I am! If you want to sign up with Memebox, use my link here! Like I said above, there are so many boxes to choose from, and prices are great too.

Have you tried Memebox before? If so/not, what do you think of it?

October 2014 Empties

Hey everyone! I used up so many products in October, especially skincare, so I'm just gonna get right into it.

The first product I used up is the Colgate Optic White mouthwash. I thank everything that is holy this is used up. I hated this so much, it burned and didn't make my breath feel fresh at all. Hated this stuff!

The next product is a good one, and it's The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel. This product smells like heaven. I swear everytime I use this in the shower, it makes my whole house smell like oranges. I'm a huge fan of The Body Shop's shower gels and will always have one or two backups in my closet.

Next up is a Hair, Skin & Nails supplement by Spring Valley. I like taking these supplements to help take care of my hair, but I notice a huge difference in the health of my nails the most.

Then I have a small tube of L'Occitane Hand Cream. This hand cream contains 20% shea butter so it's ultra hydrating. I liked using this before bed so it could sink into my skin. My hands are really starting to dry out now, so I can already tell I'll be going through hand cream like crazy.

I definitely used up quite a bit of skincare and the first product is the Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex moisturizer. This took me ages to use up because I used it at night and I did alternate between different moisturizers. This stuff is pretty heavy, but I didn't break out from it, which was nice. I did a review of it here and it was sent to me from iFabbo.

The next product I used up is the Boots Expert Sensitive Gentle Refreshing Toner. I think I may have put this in a monthly favorites, but don't quote me. I did like this toner alot. It was very inexpensive and did feel good on my skin. I don't know if I'll repurchase only because I'm so attached to the Aloe Toner from The Body Shop.

Next I used up the Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream Moisturizer. I don't like this stuff at all. It doesn't do anything for my skin and the scent is too overpowering for me.

I've decided to throw away the Proactiv Mild Exfoliating Peel. I was going through my closet and saw this in there. I was actually going to use it then saw when it expired. In the trash it goes!

The last skincare product is the Own Firming Silk Concentrate. I did a review on this here, and now that it's all used up, I can say that I would not repurchase it. It was nice while it lasted. I mixed it into my night time moisturizer for extra hydration, but it did feel a little oily on my skin.

I loved the Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara. It lasted for close to a month and made my lashes look nice. All other mascaras pictured were drier than the Sahara so in the trash they go. The mascaras are Pop Beauty Smoky Lash Kapow!!! (yes, it really has 3 exclamation points at the end of the name), theBalm What's Your Type? "The Body Builder", Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash, Korres Provitamin B5 & Rice Bran, and two of the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes. All of those were just so dry and un-useable.

Now finally some makeup products! The first product is the Pixi Flawless & Poreless Primer. I didn't find this particularly amazing. I think it did help foundation/concealer go on a bit nicer, but it didn't really do much for my pores or oily skin. I do have another one of these to use up though.

I finally used up my Maybelline Age Rewind Dark Circle Treatment Concealer in the color Fair. I love this stuff so much and will always repurchase once I use up some other concealers. I think this is one of the best concealers for my dark circles.

I also finally used up my Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in the Translucent shade. This took me so long to use up since I don't use alot and mostly used it under my eyes. I love how fine this powder is and how it keeps my skin looking nice and shine free for a while.

I'm sad to say it's time to get rid of the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge I've been using. It had started to get tears in it and little bits were coming off when I was using it. Even though this is way less expensive than the Beauty Blender, it doesn't hold up as well as the Beauty Blender. I've been using my Beauty Blender longer than I was using this Miracle Complexion Sponge and it's holding up so much better.

I used up this tiny sample of the Chella Eyebrow Defining Gel that I received in an Ipsy bag. I actually did really like this. I don't do much with my eyebrows, so some gel to tame them a little is fine with me.

The last product is the La Fresh Travel Lite Makeup Remover Wipes. This little package came in either an Ipsy bag or an old Birchbox. I used these because I couldn't find a large package of wipes and they kinda sucked to be honest. They didn't remove makeup well, so I mainly used them to clean up swatches. Even then they didn't clean well.

What did you use up in October?

October 2014 Favorites!

Hello everyone! October is officially over, which means it's time to talk about the products I was loving last month. I have to say, I'm very happy with the products I've been trying out lately, so lets get into it!

Now I know mouthwash may seem like an odd favorite to some, but this stuff is seriously amazing! The Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection mouthwash is great. It's alcohol free which for me is the best because other mouthwashes burn the heck outta my mouth. This makes my mouth feel so clean and fresh after I use it and I probably won't go to anything else. This is by far the best mouthwash I've ever used. Hubby likes it too :)

Next up is the Suave Keratin Infusion Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner. Since coloring my hair a burgundy/auburn color, I really wanted to make sure I'm taking care of it properly and not having the color fade like crazy. I have had some fading in my hair, but it's not bad to where it looks horribly faded, it's more of a natural looking fade, if that makes sense. Anyway, I love how this combo makes my hair feel and look. Plus, it smells amazing and it's super inexpensive at Walmart.

Now for some skincare. I've had this Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay for quite a while now and have only used it a small handful of times. When I tell you this stuff is intense, I mean it! You take equal parts clay and add either water or apple cider vinegar, mix it up and apply to the skin. You can use it on your face or body, which is pretty neat! I've been loving this for my face because it really helps with breakouts and large pores, and it just smooths everything out wonderfully. I follow this mask up with the GlamGlow Hydrating mask and it's a match made in mask heaven. My skin looks gorgeous after them!

Now we have a new toner I've been trying out and it's the Peter Thomas Roth Aloe Tonic Mist. You all know how much I love The Body Shop's Aloe Calming Toner, but I had this in my stash and wanted to use it first before I bust open one of those. I have to say, I'm impressed with this! I actually spray a bunch onto a cotton pad and apply it that way. I notice if it gets near my eyes, they tend to sting a little for some reason, so applying it with the cotton pad gives me more control. Otherwise, this toner feels great on the skin and preps it well for serums and moisturizers.

This wouldn't be a favorites if I didn't include something from The Body Shop! Their Aloe Protective Serum is amazeballs! I'm pretty sure I've included this in a favorites post before, but I love mixing some of this into my morning moisturizer for extra hydration. My skin can tell that it's getting cooler, therefore it's starting to dry out. This gives me the extra hydration I need without feeling too heavy or too light. I have so many backups of this, so I'm stocked for a while.

Lastly, we have makeup! First up is the much talked about Lorac Mega Pro Palette. I did haul it here, and a Fall look here featuring this palette. I think this is so beautiful and has so many amazing colors. I wasn't going to get this at first, but I got sucked in and had to have it. I'm so glad I bought it because I know I'll get so much use out of it! My one and only gripe is that it's fallout central and kicks up alot of powder as you dip your brush in.

Lastly, we have two of the Too Faced Melted lipsticks that came in the Melted Kisses set from the Sephora Friends & family haul I did here. I remember saying in that post that I wanted to try some of these but didn't want to spend the money on a full sized one. I saw the set online and figured it would be a great way to try 4 different colors. I have not tried the other two yet, but the ones pictured above, Melted Nude and Melted Peony are fantastic! The color payoff is great and they last a long time on the lips for me. I am tempted to buy some full sized ones, but I doubt I will because there is enough product in these for me to like them and not get tired of them.
