Review: The Body Shop Banana Shampoo & Conditioner

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be talking about one of my favorite shampoos and conditioners of all time. The Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Conditioner is absolutely amazing!

The shampoo lathers up very nicely and the conditioner does a pretty good job at moisturizing my hair and making it feel soft. The description if the shampoo on The Body Shops website is, " Best if you want to: gently cleanse and nourish your hair with a shampoo that smells good enough to eat and will leave you hair feeling clean, soft and silky." I couldn't agree more with this. It really does make my hair feel so clean and the smell of this is so yummy!

Here's the description of the conditioner. "Best if you want to: nourish and protect your hair with an irresistible smelling conditioner that leaves it free of tangles and easy to manage." Again, I totally agree with this. When I'm done in the shower, sometimes I don't even use my Garnier leave-in conditioner because this makes my hair soft and tangle free. It's pretty amazing because my hair gets tangled so easily. This also isn't very thick either but it's very moisturizing, so people with thick, curly hair can definitely try this.

Now onto a little bit of history with this. From what I understand, these products were discontinued a while ago but The Body Shop decided to bring back a bunch of products that were around a long time ago and customers could vote which one to bring back permanently, which included these babies. Apparently everyone was so excited that these were around again so these won the vote! I'm very happy they won because they are so good! They cost $8 per bottle and you get 8.4 ounces worth of product. It's not terribly expensive, but it's not cheap either. The ones I have in my shower now are about half full and I've been using them for about 3 or 4 weeks now, so the value isn't terrible in my opinion.

That's my review! Seriously, you guys really need to try these if you haven't already! The smell alone is usually enough of a reason to buy them!

Has anyone else tried these before?
