Review: Bonapiel Beauty & Youth Serum

Hey guys! Today I have a review on a facial serum from the brand Bonapiel, and it's their Beauty & Youth Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and MSM. My skin's been pretty good lately, but you all know I love a good serum to test out!

Here is some info about the product from Amazon: 

- Reduces and even eliminates fine lines and wrinkles.

- Reverses other signs of aging such as age spots and sagging skin.

- Restores a healthy, youthful glow and smoothes your skin. 

- Turns tired, dull skin into healthy-looking skin. Improves it's firmness and elasticity. 

- Protects against future signs of aging. 

Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C and MSM help to activate collagen in your skin and smooth fine lines. I occasionally have fine dehydration lines when I don't drink enough water, but I'm only 27 and have no wrinkles. I don't think this would help with deep set wrinkles, but the fine lines I can see this serum helping. 

The serum is a thin gel consistency that blends and sinks into the skin nicely. It feels very nice going on, and has a faint lavender scent that I quite like. Lavender Oil is one of the last few ingredients on the list, but if you're very sensitive to scents, you might want to steer clear. I don't find it offensive at all honestly, and I do have a sensitive nose with certain smells. I do like that this product has helped with the brightness of my skin as well, as that's been an issue for me off and on for a while now. 

This costs almost $40 here on Amazon. For that price, it's a little on the high side in my opinion, but I do lie this product.

Hey guys! I've talked about the brand InstaNatural a few times here on the blog, and have been pretty impressed with what I've tried. I don't usually do my hair too often or use heat on it, but I was in the market for a new heat protecting spray. I was so excited when this was sent to me and I couldn't wait to try it out.

After using this, I do notice that my hair is alot softer and more shiny, while really protecting it from the heat of my flat iron. It smells really nice too, a bit floral-y but not bad at all. You all know how much I hate floral smelling products. 

The spray nozzle is a bit wonky and doesn't always spray evenly, but I can still work with it fine. I just really like how my hair feels and looks after using this. Some sprays I've tried have left my hair feeling a bit crunchy, but this one just makes it feel super soft. 

This product is a bit pricey at $13.95, here on Amazon, but I do feel it's worth the price. You definitely don't need to spray a ton in your hair to get the job done, but keep in mind that my hair is pretty fine, and I have trouble in general finding products that don't weigh it down.

Review: Valentia Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum

Hi guys! I'm back with yet another product review from the brand Valentia. This time, I got to try out their Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum. You all know my love for serums, so I couldn't wait to give this a go!

According to Valentia, this serum will:

- Renew texture & tone
- Deeply moisturize
- Minimize fine lines
- Increase elasticity
- Brighten & Plumps Fine Lines
- Evens Hyperpigmentation

These are the key ingredients:

- Wakame Bioferment (Seaweed): Increases skin oxygen consumption to detoxify and boost antioxidant defense.
- Gotu Kola: Lessens the appearance of scars and increases skin firmness.
- Lactic Acid: A natural Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that increases skin cell turnover, for healthier renewed skin.
- Licorice: Lightens unwanted pigmentation and corrects skin discoloration.
- Argan Oil: Naturally rich in Vitamin E, this oil reduced water loss and protects skin's resiliency and elasticity.  

Now that I've been using this for a little while, I can say that my skin has gotten a little better. I'm still struggling with occasional dryness due to the weather change, but I've noticed the texture of my skin feeling much smoother. Lactic Acid is probably my favorite AHA as it's more gentle on the skin compared to Glycolic Acid, yet it's still effective. I only use this serum at night, since that's when I feel my skincare gets better use. It sinks into my skin very fast, which I really like, then I apply my moisturizer on top.
