Today's post is going to be fun! We're talking about our first love and first kiss.
Now I said this will be fun, well for me at least. I'm not sure how entertaining this will be for all of you because I'm still with my first love, who was also my first kiss! I had crushes when I was in school, but never one where I was like, "OMG, I'm in love!" So yeah, David's my first love :)
For the first day of this blogging challenge, we talked about our current relationship. Well, my current relationship has been my only relationship and he was also my very first kiss. Dawwwwww :)
I guess there's not too much to say about my first love because I've talked about him before. If you want a little re-cap of him, his name is David, we met through an old co-worker of mine, and we've been together ever since. Exciting, I know.
Our first kiss was kinda funny. I was actually the one to go in for the kill because he was just standing there. He keeps telling me he was gonna do it eventually, but I beat him to it. Anyways, he had dropped me off at my house after our third date and walked me to the door. He always did that no matter what. He always made sure I got in the door okay and had everything locked up too. Such a nice boy he is. Once we got to my front door, he gave me a hug like he had done the first two dates and then we just kinda stood there. I wasn't sure what was going on at first, then I had a fleeting thought, "OMG, we're gonna kiss!" That's when I went in for the kill. I could tell he was shocked because he jumped a little, but then afterwards he had the cutest, biggest grin on his face and said he wasn't expecting that. I wasn't either and had no idea what I was doing, obviously. It wasn't any big kiss, just a peck really. It was funny because once I opened the door and stepped in my house, he was like, "wait, one more kiss." I just laughed and we kissed and he left. It was cute, it was awkward and it was simple. Couldn't have asked for a better kiss.
Today's post for the blogging challenge is how you hope your future will be like.
I hope that my future is happy
I hope my future is healthy
I hope I have a job that makes me feel good about myself
I hope that David and I are together for the rest of our lives
I hope that our future babies to grow up happy and healthy
I hope that we have money to be able to live like normal people
I just want a normal, happy and calm life
Hey guys! Today's post for the blogging challenge is to talk about a moment when you felt most satisfied with your life.
I hate to say this, but I have not been satisfied with really anything in my life yet. I know, I know. You'd probably say, "but you have a job, you're getting married in a few months and you have a roof over your head!" Yes, I may have all that, but the negative side in me wants everything to be perfect. I want a better job and I want to live in a house that's mine. I love my fiance dearly, but I won't be satisfied until we're married and settled down in our own house, where we both have jobs we love and we have healthy, happy babies.
I know that probably sounds bad and people may think I seem ungrateful, but I'm really not. I have an amazing family who supports me and loves me and it's a wonderful thing. I'm just still not fully satisfied. I don't know how else to say this :/
Today's post for the blog challenge is to tell your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality.
As you can tell by the title, I'm a Sagittarius. There are a few things that I feel like are me, and others not so much.
Some traits of a Sagittarius are:
-Fun
-Optimistic
-Good-Natured
-Sociable
-Impatient
Now I don't think I'm much fun to be honest and I'm definitely not optimistic. I know I need to work on that. I feel like I am good-natured but I don't like being around people. I am most definitely impatient. Just ask my fiance...
Some likes a Sagittarius has are:
-Freedom
-Being on the move
-Parties
-New friends
-Flirting
I most definitely like my freedom and I always have to be moving. I can't just stand around and do nothing. I absolutely can't stand parties and I'm not good at making friends. I'm also not a big flirt either. I never was when I was younger.
Now for some dislikes:
-Public disapproval
-Playing safe
-Confinement
-Monotony
-Being doubted
Honestly, I could care less if people like me or hate me. Obviously, it's better if someone likes you, but if they don't, oh freakin' well! I have to say, paying it safe is always what I do. I'm not much into being bold and daring. I absolutely hate being confined! I hate being in tight clothes, I hate being in a small area and I hate being around alot of people at once. With monotony, sometimes I like a routine. I can be quite OCD and have to do the same things everyday and if I don't do them, I feel off, if that even makes sense. Other times I just want break free and do something I'm not used to. I'm not sure how I feel about being doubted. I can't think of a time where I gave someone a reason to doubt me, but I'm sure I wouldn't like it. I have a feeling I'd like to prove them wrong if someone ever did doubt me.
I think I'm about half a Sagittarius! Only kidding. I think people are always going to find something about their sign that they don't agree with. My fiance is a Leo, and to me he doesn't seem like a Leo that much, except when he grows out his hair and his beard gets really long, then he may look like a lion!
Hey everyone! Today I'm throwing in a different post along with the blog challenge I'm taking part in. I haven't done a haul post in what feels like forever, so I'm going to be showing you my recent purchases from Sephora and Walmart!
The first thing I picked up from Sephora is the Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Cream in the color White Russian. This has been talked about from a few beauty gurus I watch on Youtube and I love the regular Buxom glosses but I can't remember if I've ever tried the creams before. Anyways, I have tried this already and it has that tingle that all the Buxom glosses have and it's not too sticky either, which is nice. It's a touch too light for my complexion so I tend to use something darker underneath this. I do love the color of it though, but I'm still experimenting to see what I like best.

The next thing I bought is the Sephora Collection Outrageous Prisma Chrome Metallic Eyeshadow in the color Outrageous Metallic Beige. I've used this already as well and I love this color! This is perfect for if you don't really want to wear much makeup but still look put together. Just swipe this on the lid and add mascara and you're good! These shadows were marked down on the Sephora website from $16 to $7 and I was really surprised to see them in my Sephora inside JC Penny. Alot of times I don't see clearance stuff I see online, in store. Which is why I picked up another color!
This color is called Outrageous Metallic Taupe. I haven't tried this one yet, but the swatch I did is so beautiful. I'm not sure if I'll use this as just an all over lid color or a crease color since it's quite pigmented. I have a feeling I might like it better as an all over color, but we'll see.

The first swatch is of the lip gloss. My lips like to naturally change color on me and the day I used this, they were a bit darker than the color of the gloss so it washed me out a little. I took it off and used a Revlon lip butter in Sorbet first, then the gloss. It turned out beautiful! The middle swatch is of the beige eyeshadow. I know it's a bit bright, but this was the best picture I was able to get. I love this color so much that I think I'm putting it in my everyday makeup drawer set I have. The last swatch is of the taupe eyeshadow. To me, the swatch seems a little bit darker which is fine, but I wouldn't call this taupe. I do love this color though and can't wait to start playing around with it!

If you didn't read my review on the Batiste Dry Shampoo, I basically said it was my holy grail dry shampoo and it changed my life. Well, I got to thinking that there has to be something just as good, or close to it, in the drugstore. I bought this Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo at Walmart for just under $4, so I'm hoping it's good. If anyone has tried this, let me know if you like it. I honestly love Batiste, but I don't love the price tag, and with how quickly I go through the stuff, I'd like to find a less expensive alternative.

I was really excited to see the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer at Walmart! If the foundation ever comes to the states, which I think it might, I'll probably pass because it sounds like it's better for people with drier skin. As for the concealer, I hope this does what the name of it says! I have ridiculous dark circles under my eyes, so this better wake me up! I got this in the lightest color 125 Very Fair, and it seems like a good match for me. I may do a review on this once I give it a good try. Also, the price of this was great at just $4.47. Can't beat Walmart prices!
Well that's my little haul! It might not be anything fantastic, but like I said, I haven't done a haul post in a while, so I figured I'd show what I purchased recently :)

Today's post for the June blogging challenge is to talk about a time when you thought about ending your own life. I'll say right off the bat, things might be a little depressing in this post.
I'm one of those people who gets very stressed out really easily, I get major anxiety about things and I do get depressed. Thinking back in my life, I don't really have a specific time where I thought about killing myself, but I do think about what it would be like if I wasn't here anymore.
When I was younger, I struggled alot in school with nasty teachers, nasty kids, and I just never wanted to be there. It all started in 2nd grade when I had the teacher from Hell. I don't even know what her problem was but she always yelled at me and made me sit with one of the meanest kids ever. He was the epitome of a "bad kid." I'm not sure why she always picked on me, but that started my stress and anxiety. I hated going to school because of her and I constantly had stomach aches from the stress. Ever since then, I've felt like my life wasn't worth it and I'd never do anything good with my life.
Even today I get really bad anxiety and terrible stomach aches before I go into work. I know I've mentioned many times before that I work in retail. I won't say which store but I have to say, it can be a really tough job to deal with. Alot of the managers aren't nice, they talk down to us and treat us like children. Alot of the associates aren't nice either. We all have sales goals we have to make, but alot of associates take it to an extreme and fight for sales. It's not right and makes the customer feel like a piece of meat. I refuse to argue with fellow associates about this, so I just go and do recovery to make the floor look nice. Obviously, I still have to sell and help customers, which I do, but I'm not hounding them every 10 seconds. This stresses me out to no end because these people get praised for doing a good job with making their goal, while I get nothing. Who's the one making the selling floor look nice for customers to shop? I am. Do I get anything for it? Nope. I may get a thank you, but it's never sincere.
Whenever I get really upset and sad, I always think to myself, "why the hell am I still here? Why can't I just die?" Alot of times I wish I wasn't around anymore, but I don't think I could ever physically do anything to try and kill myself. I can tell my fiance gets really frustrated with me when I feel like this, but he doesn't really understand, and when I try to talk to him about it, all he says is to get over it. It's much harder to do then just "get over it." I've struggled pretty much my whole life feeling this way, and I still struggle with feeling like my life has purpose. I'd like to think there are great times ahead, but at this moment, I really don't think there is.
This was very hard to write. This whole post may not have made any sense either, but hey, I put myself out there for people to see. Please don't judge me :/
